Lauren Heidenreich RD, LD Now offering monday morning appointments
We are thrilled to announce our team member Lauren Heidenreich, RD, LD has increased her availability with the practice and is now offering in-person and virtual appointments Monday mornings. Lauren specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, enteral nutrition, complex medical conditions, and supporting families of clients.
Lauren Heidenreich, RD, LD graduated from Bradley University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Lauren completed her dietetic internship with Dominican University in 2013, moved from her home in the Chicagoland area to Denver in the same year, and started her career as an enteral dietitian for a national home infusion company. Lauren developed specialization in enteral nutrition and bedside patient education with a variety of patients, including those struggling with eating disorders.
In 2020, Lauren moved to the Dallas area and through her interest in eating disorder treatment, began working at the Eating Recovery Center in Plano, Tx. Lauren has experience with clients of all ages and a variety of diagnoses including anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge eating disorder (BED), other specified eating/feeding disorder (OSFED), and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Rebecca is accepting new patients both in-person and virtually starting the month of July and really loves working with the adolescent population.
Lauren has experience teaching group therapy focusing on topics including: Intuitive eating, the ED cycle, the health consequences of restriction, among many others. She is also experienced in providing meal educations and food exposure therapy with patients and families.
Lauren believes that health, intuitive eating, mindfulness, and appropriate exercise can exist in harmony while developing and maintaining a “no bad foods” mentality.
Lauren tailors her interventions to each client based on their individual needs and works closely with other team members such as therapists and psychiatrists to ensure her clients are getting quality care.

New Group Starting! Virtual College Athlete Support Group: Dallas Nutritional Counseling is currently accepting interest forms for our College Athlete Nutrition Support Group. The group will start at the beginning of the Spring semester and run for 8 weeks January through March.
