Investment
Insurance itself is a full time job and in order to use our full effort towards patient care, our practice is not contracted with any insurance companies at this time. However, if you would like to use your insurance, our dietitians can provide you with a Superbill (receipt with insurance codes) so that you can receive reimbursement directly from the insurance company. Our dietitians would be considered an out-of-network provider. Several of patients receive 100% or a majority of their out of pocket cost from insurance. All reimbursement is dependent on your specific plan. If you are unsure of your specific plan, please contact your insurance provider to see if our services (codes: 97802, 97803, 97804) would be reimbursed.

Please note we follow a strict 24 hr cancellation policy. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please provide notice, written or verbal, at least 24 hours in advance or 48 hours in advance for Monday appointments, if possible. Missed appointments or cancellations without 24-hour notice will be billed for the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate:
As of January 1, 2022, state-licensed or certified health care providers need to give a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every new and continuing client who is either uninsured or is not planning to submit a claim to their insurance for the healthcare services they seek. As an out-of-network provider many of our clients will choose to not submit to their insurance provider therefore they are eligible to receive a Good Faith Estimate. The Good Faith Estimate is a part of the new patient paperwork completed at the time of scheduling the client’s initial session.
All of our services are pay-as-you-go, therefore you are only ever agreeing to the next appointment you schedule. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours or not attended without notice, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session. Most of our patients partner with one of our dietitians for 6 months to a year and appropriate frequency is assessed during the initial session and reassessed at every follow up session.
For example, if you schedule a new patient appointment with Megan Good RD, LD, CEDS the total investment would be estimated at $165. If you then continue seeing Megan weekly for a total of 10 sessions the total investment would be estimated at $1650.00 (10 appointments at $165 per appointment). Payment is due at the time the service is provided and you will only ever be charged for an appointment at the time the appointment is conducted. We never charge for future appointments. Services can be discontinued at any given point as long as 24 hour notice is given for any scheduled appointment.
